Lavender Lumps

My first cake was actually created last April. I didn't want to tackle anything too disastrous so I played it simple using pre-made fondant and an easy cake recipe. My biggest mistake was watching the How To clips after I finished the cake. I always think that I can just do some light reading and be able to recreate the masterpiece. Silly me! Still proud though, lumps and all. The pre-made fondant was not easy to work with and tasted exactly like what it was...store bought. It's such a scam. I threw out the remaining fondant and refuse to use it ever again.  It's all homemade from here on out!
